Megan May is a freelance science communicator based in Virginia. With an education from the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism and the Danish School of Media and Journalism, she spent years working as a photographer and videographer at newspapers and universities before transitioning to freelance. Her current work uses visual projects to translate scientific research to the public.
